Report from (Reporter & Chronicle, 2006) A Mossley landmark has been given a new lease of life as a block of luxury flats. Hollins Clough House apartments are housed at the former public house on, Micklehurst Rd, Mossley. Local dignitaries gathered to mark to mark their official opening. Councillor Roy Etchells, who attended the event said "It's a nice change to have a developer tryring to save our town by refurbishing beautiful old buildings like this rather than knock them down. " The Butchers Arms was one of the top pubs in Mossley. "It's an important part of the town's heritage. By converting it into four flats the developer has retained the fine exterior structure for future generations."

Prices for the one and two bedroom living spaces by Colborne Developments Ltd began at £119,950. Each has parking, secure entry, separate garage storage and all are finished to high specification.
